The Board of Supervisors considered for enactment, Hellam Township Ordinance No. 2024-01 “An Ordinance with Regulations for Private Firearm Target Practice Areas” at a Public Hearing held on Thursday, June 6, 2024, at 6:00 PM. After ample discussion between the Board Members and citizens, the Board decided to not enact the Ordinance as it stands, but instead, is asking the ordinance be returned to the Planning Commission for further research and discussion. If you are interested in giving input regarding the draft ordinance, please attend one of the upcoming Planning Commission meetings. They occur the 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month, unless posted otherwise.

Below you will find a PDF link to the most recent Draft Ordinance. Copies of the ordinance are available for examination without charge during regular business hours at the Hellam Township Municipal Building, located at 35 Walnut Springs Road, Hellam, Pennsylvania. Copies may also be obtained for the cost of reproduction at the Hellam Township Municipal Building during the regular business hours.
